Sunday snow days look different in our house.

Last Sunday we had a little bit of snow, not enough to slow life down, but just enough to bring loud, chaotic, cozy energy into our home. I’m watching Blake and the kids from the window because cold weather is not my jurisdiction. He handles the snow, I handle the warm side of life.

We head outside briefly, come back in for hot chocolate requests, and Mercy comes in freezing so we run her hands under warm water to help her regulate. The house is loud, chaotic, and full of movement, but it’s one of those days that ends up being really fun.

While Blake is outside with the kids, I take the opportunity to work on our closet makeover. I talk through executive function differences, doom piles, and how my husband and I learn and organize differently as a neurodivergent family.
