The wireless TMA-2 Modular Headphone System. The world’s most extensive modular headphone system is going wireless with the H05, our smart Bluetooth headband.We are expanding our modular headphone system with a HD wireless solution.

H05 is the first major update for the TMA-2 Modular Headphone System: A smart, wireless headband with an integrated Bluetooth module.

The headband was inspired by suggestions from our users. The TMA-2 modular system enables us to listen and react to their feedback, so that our product can last, even as our customers’ tastes change and develop to include new technologies.

Importantly, this headband means any TMA-2 configuration can be wireless for new users, and existing users can upgrade to wireless while keeping their original sound preferences.

We hope that our friends, both old and new, will back this project to help us make the TMA-2 wireless into a reality.

TMA-2 is the world’s most extensive modular headphone system – with more than 1000 possible configurations. This modularity means you can create your own unique, personalized AIAIAI product that fits your specific needs, while enabling a quick and easy change of individual parts along the way.

We are now developing the first major upgrade to the TMA-2 Modular Headphone System – a smart headband that adds new functionalities. The first is an integrated Bluetooth module, meaning the headphones can go wireless.




By integrating the wireless functionality into the headband only, we enable any configuration of the TMA-2 to be wireless, and thereby retain full modularity in the system.

This gives new users the full freedom to choose, while allowing existing customers to take their TMA-2 headphones wireless simply by upgrading the headband.

"At first, we explored whether creating a new speaker unit could be a way to introduce wireless technology to the system. But that felt wrong somehow, as it would be limiting to have only a few wireless sound configurations. That’s why we came up with this idea of integrating the bluetooth module into the headband, to maintain that 100% modularity.”





The H05 headband works simply when you plug it into any TMA-2 speaker unit, enabling high quality Bluetooth audio transmission.

The headband has the following controls: Play, Pause, Skip, Volume, and Answer Call.

Any cable from the TMA-2 Modular Headphone System can be inserted into the speaker unit for cabled audio, bypassing the Bluetooth in the H05 headband when required - e.g. if battery is dead.
