Headliner | University of Nottingham Netball v University of Gloucestershire

Our second Headliner of the academic year, and first of 2023 will shine a light on our #Netball 1st team as they look to progress on the #RoadToNottingham in the Championship Cup. With a place in the quarter finals on the line, there is sure to be plenty of excitement and action! Facing Gloucestershire at 5pm on Wednesday, we cannot wait for the atmosphere court side as the #GreenandGold look to make it two Headliner wins from two this academic year.

Finishing third in the Premier division this season, the #GreenandGold will be looking to take their good league form into the cup run, which culminates in the National Finals at #BUCSBigWednesday.


What is The Headliner?

The Headliner with Red Bull is a multi-award-winning event series, hosted on campus, showcasing various #BUCS teams competing at the top level of university sport throughout the year. There is usually one Headliner event per term and each highlights a different sport. In recent years there has been some fantastic double headers such as the Hockey Headliner in Term 1, where both the Men’s and Women’s first teams competed in front of the #GreenandGold crowd – coming out victorious.
