VIDEO DESCRIPTION
Dear God look at the time stamp on this thing. Did one single photo really need 43 minutes of discussion? No, it didn’t. But it’s a hell of an improvement on the director’s cut. Just call me Windy McBlowhard, because I just can’t stop talking about my own work.

Hey by the way I made up a new term that’s pertinent to this whole video but I didn’t think of it until like 3 minutes ago because of my whole brain problem. The word is: “streetscape”, as in “I enjoy streetscape photography” and “I am a moderately successful streetscape photographer”. Wait, hold on. Let me google that real quick to see if it really is a new word…

Nope. It’s in the dictionary. It’s already a word. And it describes exactly what I was trying to describe. See what I mean about my brain problem? I gotta get one of those word of the day calendars or something.

Alright anyway this video is all about a photo I took recently in Los Angeles, California on 6x17 Kodak Portra 400 film. I’m pretty happy with it. And by pretty happy with it I mean ecstatic about it. I’d put this in my top 10, maybe 5, photos I’ve ever taken. And if being a photographer for 24 years has taught me anything, I’m certain most of you will not feel the same way. Oh, well. Feels good to take a photo I’m really proud of. And to share it with you (aw).
