CB500X Off-Road In The Tabernas Desert

The Tabernas Desert became the main reason for doing this section of the TET in Spain, I was looking for an adventure off-road on the CB500X motorcycle. When it was clear that my trip to Morocco was not going to happen with less than a week to go, I started to look to see if there were any similar type landscapes in Spain that I could take the CB500X off-road and experience some of the aspects of the desert. Tabernas became the obvious choice and it was great fun. There are plenty of places to go exploring which I got to do a little of and I would love to go back and spend more time here. I was under pressure to keep moving and cover more of the TET on my trip but a full day here would cover a lot of ground.
It's a very cinematic area and is well worth checking out if you get the opportunity. The river bed from Tabernas to Almeria is covered in the next video.
