नवरात्र-पूजन के चौथे दिन कूष्माण्डा देवी के स्वरूप की ही उपासना की जाती है। कहते हैं कि जब सृष्टि का अस्तित्व नहीं था, तब माँ कूष्मांडा ने अपनी मुस्कान से ब्रह्मांड की रचना की थी। ये देवी अष्टभुजा से सुशोभित होती हैं। इनकी पूजा से व्यक्ति के जीवन में सुख, समृद्धि और स्वास्थ्य की प्राप्ति होती है।
