Welcome back to my studio! In this week’s video, I will embroider a gorgeous woman's portrait in an elegant fingerwave-inspired hairstyle.

I will also use ribbon and freshwater pearls to create flowers for her dress and hair accessories. I got this ribbon flower technique from @faizasskills. Here’s a breakdown:
• Fold the piece of ribbon in half. Use the lighter to melt and combine the edges (be careful when working with fire!).
• Use one strand of embroidery floss (I used DMC 310) and running stitches to sew a diamond shape on the ribbon square.
• Carefully pull the floss to crunch and shape the ribbon into a four-petal flower.
• Stitch up from near the center of the flower. Add the pearl, and stitch down near the center to secure the pearl on the flower.
• Stitch the flower and pearl onto the fabric and secure with a few more stitches.
