Mark Labbett (aka ‘The Beast’) is a British quizzer and television personality, having featured on ‘The Chase’ since 2009. Before this he was a maths teacher and had competed on television quiz shows such as Mastermind, University Challenge, and Who Wants To Be A Millionaire. Mr Labbett has been recognised as a champion quizzer, having placed 5th with his team in the European Quizzing Championships 2006, and having been ranked 89th in the World Quizzing Championships in 2012. Most recently, Mr Labbett has re-joined the Australian version of ‘The Chase’.
