How to Install CushCore Tire Inserts I Step-by-Step Installation!

Been interested in installing CushCore, but haven't committed because of the reputation tire inserts have had for difficulty of installation? Well we've decided to make a step-by-step tutorial showing you how to install CushCore quickly and easily. This is solely a tutorial showing how to install CushCore XC tire inserts, but if you have any questions about CushCore in general or anything about the installation process, feel free to drop them in the comment section below and we'll be glad to respond the best we can!

CushCore is a foam-like insert that is installed in your wheelset to give your rims an increased amount of protection while simultaneously providing an improved ride feel for your bike. CushCore provides a proclaimed 50% increase in impact absorption for rim protection and less rider fatigue, 16% better suspension performance for improved bike performance in rougher terrain, 35% more sidewall support for an improved feel in corners, and 12% more vibration absorption leading to 3% less riding resistance for smoother rolling.

After I broke a few carbon wheels on my Santa Cruz Megatower and pinched the sidewalls of NUMEROUS tires, I decided to buy some CushCore XC and blindly install it myself. Following one simple tip, I installed it quickly and was genuinely confused about how easy the process ended up being. After the first ride on CushCore I was sold and my persistent wheel-related troubles immediately subsided. On top of the added protection, I also noticed a greatly improved ride feel which was icing on the cake. Feedback from the bike through rough sections was greatly dimmed down, but not totally muted with the XC inserts, which I feel would take some of the fun out of the riding experience.

Mark decided to buy the same CushCore XC inserts for his Specialized Enduro so we figured that it only makes sense to make a video showing you all the install process in hopes that we can help anyone else out there looking to install CushCore, or any other insert, to protect their wheels and improve their ride!
