Preserving & Growing More Food for the Homestead Pantry | Pantry Preparedness

Hey Friend, in today's video we are heading into the garden, which is a jungle, and harvesting some leeks which we will preserve along with all the tomatoes I've been accumulating over the last few weeks. We have some herbs to dry and tincture as well as planting the seedlings we started for the fall garden a little while back.

Recipes:

8 lbs paste tomatoes cored and halved
5 tsp salt, divided
2 tsp pepper, divided
1 tbsp olive oil
2 cups chopped onion
4 garlic cloves, minced
1 cup dry white wine
4 cups chicken stock
1 cup tightly packed basil leaves

Processed in a PRESURE CANNER at 10lbs pressure(check your elevation) for 50 min(pint) or 60 min(quart)
