2026 Luxeed R7 SUV in-depth Walkaround

The 2026 Luxeed R7 is a premium electric SUV offered in both battery electric vehicle (BEV) and range-extended electric vehicle (EREV) versions. The BEV lineup includes a single-motor rear-wheel-drive variant producing 215 kW (288 hp) and a dual-motor all-wheel-drive model with 365 kW (489 hp). These are paired with 82 kWh or 100 kWh ternary NMC battery packs, delivering CLTC ranges from 667 km to an impressive 855 km. The EREV option integrates a 1.5L range extender, enabling up to 360 km of pure electric driving and a remarkable 1,673 km combined range, making it ideal for long-distance travel.

Built on an 800V high-voltage architecture, the Luxeed R7 supports rapid charging while maintaining strong efficiency and performance. It features Huawei’s ADS 4 driver assistance system, equipped with a 192-line LiDAR, 4D radar, cameras, and ultrasonic sensors to provide advanced safety and semi-autonomous driving capabilities. Aerodynamics are another highlight, with a drag coefficient as low as 0.247 Cd, enhancing efficiency and extending range at highway speeds.

Inside, the R7 offers a refined and tech-focused cabin with a 16.1-inch floating touchscreen, a full LCD instrument cluster, dual wireless charging pads, and even a built-in refrigerator. The SUV has a spacious five-seat layout, measuring 4,956 mm in length, 1,981 mm in width, and 1,634 mm in height, with a 2,950 mm wheelbase. Curb weight ranges between 2,148 kg and 2,180 kg, ensuring stability while delivering a comfortable and connected driving experience for modern families.
