I’m excited to share my latest CAD project where I designed a fully functional Electrical Plug Adapter using SolidWorks. 🔌⚙️
​This project challenged me to move beyond basic modeling and focus on reverse engineering and complex assembly. I started by taking precise measurements of a real-world unit and rebuilt it virtually, ensuring every internal component—from the conductive shafts to the fastening screws—fit perfectly within the casing.
​Key Technical Skills Applied:

​Reverse Engineering: Translating physical dimensions into 3D sketches.
​Advanced Part Modeling: Utilizing Extruded Boss, Cuts, and Revolve features.
​Assembly Management: Mating multi-body parts and checking for interference.
​Design for Assembly (DFA): adjusting screw head diameters and shaft lengths for realistic manufacturing tolerances.
