Leopard 2A5 Turret Composite Armor Vs 120 mm M829A2 APFSDS-T Part-2

This video presents 120 mm M829A2 APFSDS-T penetration against Leopard 2A5 tank Turret composite armor. This video is updation of part-1 with few improvement in composite armor. It is found that, the projectile is successfully able to penetrate the front turret plates as well as whole composite armor (NERA) plates. The video highlights various penetration angle. The assumption are mentioned at the beginning of the video.
The Leopard 2A5 turret armor and projectile is simplified for the analysis. The APFSDS-T fins and ballistic cap is ignored in the simulation.
