Sky News contributor Sophie Elsworth says it was “totally unnecessary” for anti-Israel protestors to interrupt the Melbourne Symphony Orchestra at the Royal Albert Hall in London.

“They were annoyed that the Melbourne Symphony Orchestra cancelled a performance by pianist Jayson Gillham last year,” Ms Elsworth told Sky News host Chris Kenny.

“They did disrupt this proceeding on Friday night.

“They got the attention they wanted; they're angry with the situation.

“They took their activism to the venue and disrupted the proceedings.”
