Alternative O2 Sensors for an Aston Martin DB9

Описание к видео Alternative O2 Sensors for an Aston Martin DB9

Like most cars the V12 engines in an Aston Martin have Oxygen Sensors (a.k.a. O2, Lamda or HEGO sensors). Unlike most other cars Aston charges a mind blowing $218 each for them. In this video I take a closer look at this Caviar of O2 sensors, and discover its merely a Ford sensor tagging along for the ride.

I closely examine the sensors from my 2005 Aston Martin DB9 Coupe. I'll show you some alternative parts that can be sourced inexpensively, and share my favorite alternate choice - an improved and updated modestly priced version of the original Ford part.

This is the Ford DY1401 sensor sourced from Amazon https://amzn.to/36uVLZq
You can find it on the official Ford Parts website here at http://parts.ford.com
Here is the link to the Ford Sensor https://parts.ford.com/shop/en/us/ele...
You can also search for generic aftermarket sensors that work on sites like www.RockAuto.com
