My delightful conversation with Ruskin Bond continues. In this episode he talks about Charles Dickens, his favourite author and the inspiration behind him becoming a writer. He also reads a passage from Dickens's novel David Copperfield.

The multi-award-winning Ruskin Bond is probably India’s most prolific contemporary writer—given that he has been writing almost non-stop for over seven decades! Starting with his debut novel ‘The Room on the Roof’ and continuing with stories such as ‘The Blue Umbrella’, ‘Night Train at Deoli’, his wonderful verses, his insightful essays, his autobiographical book ‘Lone Fox Dancing’ and beyond, his books have delighted children and adults alike.

The core team on this project include director Jitendra D Patel, executive producer Siddharth Bond, editor Chinangshuk Chandra, transcriber Madhusree Mukherjee. Mayur Varma, CCO at 82.5 Communications, is the series creative director. Durga Bangde and Priyank Bengali are the art director and designer respectively. Animesh Goswami plays a key role as social media consultant. Sankha Acharya is the social media executive.
