(I want to precede this to say, this is only one of many things I have done to help my tummy)

I don’t know about you, but tummy area can be a self-conscious area. The goal is to feel good in our skin and to help our body out like with lymphatic drainage and moving into a rest-digest state.

🫶🏼 Remember, when doing these things, let’s be kind to ourselves, our body hears us. If you wouldn’t say it to your best friend, don’t say it to yourself! 😉

✨ This massage not only can help with lymphatic drainage which helps detoxing and puffiness… especially in the lower “pooch” area, it can also be of help with gut motility which is code for 💩 and bloating too. And when it comes to cortisol belly, it can be due to adipose tissue as well as fluid.

✅ While doing this I focus on deep belly breathing to further bring my nervous system into a rest-digest, parasympathetic state. I do this massage about 2 times a week or as needed.
