Shark Scientist Reacts to The Meg (2018)

Описание к видео Shark Scientist Reacts to The Meg (2018)

I watch and review the shark science in The Meg! #sharks #science #ecology #marinebiology

I am Dr Sam Munroe, and I’m an ecologist. That means I study plants and animals and how they interact with their environment. I got my PhD in ecology studying sharks and so I love watching shark movies and dissecting the science (or lack there of) in these films!

Remember that sharks are important for healthy oceans and most species pose no danger to humans. Shark bites are incredibly rare, sharks don’t target people, and when bites do occur, they are often a case a mistaken identity. Sharks should be celebrated and respected, not feared.
