EP5 Flying to Mammoth Lakes in Cessna 172

Flying to Mammoth Lakes (BIH Bishop airport) from San Diego (MYF Montgomery airport) in Cessna 172.

Mammoth Lakes is a great winter destination but there are also many attractions and fun activities for summer / fall visit.

We flew from San Diego to Bishop airport and spend two days exploring Mammoth Lakes. We took a hike between George Lake and Crystal Lake opening beautiful view on many lakes in the lakes basin.

Next day we rented biked ($18 for two hours per bike) and took a free trolley up to the lake basin to Horseshoe lake. Then we rode our bikes down to the town of Mammoth Lakes (all downhill) some thought the forest and some along the mountains on the newly built bike path.
