Martha Collins - Le spectre de la rose by Berlioz (CSOTW, 30th June 1985)

Martha Collins performing "Le spectre de la rose" by Berlioz (Op. 7, no. 2) during the finale of the 1985 Cardiff Singer Of The World competition.
The Canadian soprano gained much acclaim in her native Canada as concert and operatic performer alike.
In 1987, she appeared in Norman Jewison's comedy-drama film Moonstruck in the role of Mimi.
In the early 2000s, she has begun to direct opera productions and has been named Education Director of Sarasota Opera in 2021.
