Shiv Sena (UBT) MLA Aaditya Thackeray criticised the BCCI over India’s upcoming Asia Cup clash with Pakistan on September 14. He questioned why India does not boycott matches with Pakistan, citing Pakistan’s absence from the 2025 Men’s Hockey Asia Cup hosted by India. Thackeray called the BCCI “anti-national” and criticised the BJP for changing its ideology regarding sporting ties with Pakistan.
