Five Signs to Help with Frustration

Описание к видео Five Signs to Help with Frustration

Do you have a toddler who gets frustrated easily? All hands raised for this one!

We know toddlers can easily get frustrated (cry, stomp, throw, hit…)
But what can YOU do to help ease the frustration?
Give your child a way to communicate… like SIGNING!

Try this next time your toddler shows frustration:

*Stay Calm
*Model a SIGN when your child shows frustration
*Repeat every time (your child needs to see the SIGN often and consistently)

Try it today by modeling these
FIVE SIGNS :
WAIT - when they want their food right away but you are working on making it still
MY TURN - when they want a toy someone else has
ALL DONE - when you transition from the park to the car
HELP - when they can’t open the toy bag
STOP - when they are in a dangerous situation

Keep modeling these signs by saying and signing the word and give your child the tools to communicate!! Follow ‪@CommJunction1‬@communicationjunction on all social media platforms for more tips and language help!
