For as long as most Naruto fans can remember, Orochimaru had been eager to get his hands on the body of an Uchiha. However, long before he set his eyes on Sasuke Uchiha, the original Uchiha who Orochimaru wanted was Itachi Uchiha, the prodigy of the Uchiha clan who wiped out the entire clan via the Uchiha Massacre and had the wisdom of a hokage at a young age. As we all know, Orochimaru failed to get hold of Itachi's body and was forced to cut off his own hand to escape Itachi's genjutsu and forced to flee, staying in hiding for several years. However, what if that never happened? What If Orochimaru did indeed take over Itachi's body? How would the Naruto story change? Would things end up for better or would they end up for worse?
