The bangla classic Movie Shorolipi (স্বরলিপি) directed by Nazrul Islam and starring Razzak & Bobita. Shofik is an educated guy and his father is rich businessman. After completing his studies he starts to work in his father’s company. But his concentration remains on music. Shofik’s father doesn’t like his son’s interest in music. This creates a conflict between father and son. Huffing on it, Shofik leaves his home and starts to stay at his friend Badol’s house. He starts to work as a driver for Mita’s grandparents. On the other hand Mita really loves musician Shofik Mehmud. Shofik’s father seeks help from police to find his son and Mita keeps searching for musician Shofik. All these searching makes his friend Badol and his family annoyed. After all these Shofik stays strong on his swear of not returning to his home till he becomes an eminent artist. When will that day come?

ধনী ব্যবসায়ী বাবার শিক্ষিত ছেলে শফিক। লেখাপড়া শেষ করে বাবার ব্যবসা দেখা শুরু করলেও সেখানে মন নেই তার। সঙ্গীতপ্রেমী শফিকের মন পড়ে থাকে গানে। শফিকের বাবা ছেলের এই গান গাওয়া একদমই পছন্দ করেন না আর এই নিয়ে বাবার সাথে দ্বন্দ্ব তৈরি হয় শফিকের। একসময় বাড়ি থেকে বেরিয়ে গিয়ে বন্ধুর বাড়িতে ওঠে শফিক। ড্রাইভার কাম মেকানিকের চাকরী নেয় মিতার নানা বাড়িতে। ওদিকে মিতা মনে মনে ভালোবাসে সঙ্গীতশিল্পী শফিক মেহমুদকে। শফিকের বাবা ছেলের খোঁজে বাধ্য হয়ে পুলিশের সহায়তা নেয়। মিতা হন্যে হয়ে খুঁজছে সঙ্গীতশিল্পী শফিক মেহমুদকে। এত খোঁজাখুঁজির যন্ত্রণায় অতিষ্ঠ হয়ে যায় শফিকের আশ্রয়দাতা বন্ধু বাদল ও তার পরিবার। দিন দিন শফিকের চিন্তায় তার মা শয্যাগ্রহণ করলেও বাবার সাথে করে আসা প্রতিজ্ঞা বাস্তবায়িত হওয়ার আগ পর্যন্ত কিছুতেই বাড়ি ফিরবে না শফিক। সঙ্গীতে সফলতা কবে পাবে শফিক? মিতা কি কোন দিনও খুঁজে পাবেনা শফিককে?
