Speaker Biography: Laura Pranckėnienė, PhD, studied Biochemistry for her undergraduate degree, followed by a Master of Science degree in Human Genetics. After successfully defending her PhD thesis at Vilnius University, she joined Thermo Fisher Scientific as a Scientist III in the R&D group. In this role, Laura focuses on developing new Thermo Scientific products. Currently, she works in the Molecular Biology PGR Product Development Group, actively participating in projects that center around the development and improvement of polymerases and reverse transcriptases.
