Ivan "Ironman" Stewart racing for Toyota Racing Development, TRD, takes on the Baja in his Toyota Tundra Trophy truck with a specially engineered V8 by Toyota Racing Development, TRD.

In 1998 Stewart competes in both the SCORE Baja 500 and Baja 1000. He wins the Baja 500 and is competing against Robby Gordon in the Baja 1000. The big race starts in Santa Thomas and finishes with Stewart taking the win. Larry Raglan for Chevrolet comes in 2nd.
