Recently, Spotify - the world's largest music streaming platform announced that the song "APT." by Rosé (Blackpink) and Bruno Mars debuted at No. 3 on Spotify's global daily chart, with 6,859,271 streams.
This acievement helped Rosé set a record for the biggest debut by a female Kpop solo artist on Spotify globally, surpassing Lisa's "New Woman" (6 million streams)
In terms of both male and female Kpop solo artists, Rosé's "APT." ranked No. 3 in history, only behind "Seven" - Jungkook (15.99 million streams) and "Who" - Jimin (7.9 million streams).
In addition, "APT." debuts at #11 on the US Spotify chart with 1,178,728 streams. Rosé surpasses Blackpink (“Ice Cream,” featuring Selena Gomez) to become the biggest female K-pop artist to debut on US Spotify.
It’s also the biggest debut by a K-pop artist this year, surpassing Jimin’s “Who” (964k streams).
