WINTER MADNESS at Schiphol Airport - Planespotting With SnowFall - Golden hour and Close Up Action

This time we bring you a typical Amsterdam Winter day! All 4 seasons combined in one day haha! As the weather forecast predicted today its all about snowfall!

The past week became increasingly clear that is was going to snow! Started with last Thuesday, inbetween the showers of snow we had the most amazing winter light. Golden hour was at its best with a wet runway in front of us. Basicly we had Golden hour from the beginning till after sunset.

Ground operations came to a hold and a Large queue for either a gate after landing or at the de icing platform made Schiphol park several aircrafts on runway 18L-36R for holding.

We had a great time but it was cold, Temps around freezing point and a feeling temp of -4C.

After sunset we headed over to runway 36L-18R for some late night departures but sadly they switched the runways and 18R became the inboudn runway later that night.

More snow videos are coming in the next few weeks as we visited some other airports as well this week!
