Day 2 of the Pieterpad: From Valkenburg to Sittard, doing some long distance hiking in the Netherlands

Join us as we, along with our dog Frodo and cuddly companion Poefi, embark on the second day of the Pieterpad adventure! Covering 22 kilometers, this iconic long-distance trail takes us through the scenic beauty of the Netherlands. Starting in Valkenburg, we traverse the enchanting Ravenbosch forest, cross fields and woodlands, and enjoy a perfect picnic spot in Spaubeek. Along the way, we pass historic sites like a castle and journey into Sittard, a town rich in history. A train ride brings us back to Valkenburg to complete the day.
