DIY SNAKE RACK BUILD | Ball Python Basics

Hey Guys!

Decided to share with you a DIY video of the snake racks we use for our ball python tubs/ underbed storage boxes. The exact measurements will not be posted here to avoid confusion instead we use the exact tub as reference to what we can recommend in the snake rack build.

Tried my best to share the tips as clearly as possible in the video. However if it wasn't clear enough for you here they are:

BASED ON THE EXACT MEASUREMENT OF YOUR TUBS:
1. Shelves - 0.5 inch allowance on the sides
- 2-3 inch allowance in the front

2. Sides - Used the extra material of our boards and did not need to cover the whole side area.

3. Back - Cover the whole back area with PVC Board to get a sturdy rack

4. Bottom - Put a double layer of PVC Board at the bottom also for more sturdiness

5. Wheels - Use 4 wheels (2 with locks which you can place in front so it easier to lock once in place)

6. Screws - use 1¼ screws for wood to lock the PVC sheets together and 1 inch screws to lock the wheels in place on the bottom of your rack.
- Place 3 screws per level per side


Hope this video is helpful to you! Yes this is a DIY video so you can do this yourself. Had to get some professionals to do this one since I don't have the best carpentry skills. Moreover I made this for one of my customers so it had to be the best possible rack it could be.
