Between 1929 and 1931 Tiffany productions created a series of comedy shorts based around the "STAR" radio show. Many famous celebrities of the day appeared in the shows. This is show No.9 from 1930. This episode is hosted by Bert Wheeler, and includes an early national appearance by Aimee Semple McPherson the evangelist. Others appearing this week include, Wesley Barry, Marceline Day, Dorothy Jordan, Marjorie Kane, Ken Maynard , and Sally Starr.


These shows always seem very naive in style...well compared with today's "knowing" humour.
