Tommy Doherty played for Glasgow Celtic, Preston North End, Arsenal and Chelsea. He captained and later managed the Scotland team. He managed Aston Villa, Manchester United, Derby County, Rotherham Utd, Queens Park Rangers, Wolverhampton Wanderers, Porto and Sydney Olympic. Following a 38-year career in football he now works in the media and is also a popular speaker on the after-dinner circuit.
This clip was recorded on Thursday 26th March 2009 when he came to Hednesford Town FC in Staffordshire to talk about his time as a player and manager.
