The Canon EOS RP is a mirrorless camera that shoots video in 4K and has an OLED touchscreen. It's also the first Canon camera to use the new RF mount, which means it takes lenses from other brands like Sigma, Tamron, and Tokina! But what did I get wrong when I shared my impressions on this camera? I got my hands on a Canon EOS RP, and I wish I had tried this entry level full-frame mirrorless camera from Canon sooner. It's fun and smaller than the R, which surprised me. I think I like it better as an every day camera than the Canon EOS R, but I didn't have it for very long. Battery size and placement, no easy way to access video mode options, no C-Log are some of the downsides.
