EMD SD80MAC's, Conrail's 5000 HP monsters. Filmed in 1996-1997

Thanks for watching these Conrail Brutes. EMD's SD80MAC's on the Pittsburgh Mainline. SD80MAC's were 5000 horse power V20's, EMD 20-710G3B-ES prime movers. Only 30 of these were built in 1995-1996. All the videos taken were mid 1996 and 1997. You'll see four on a loaded ore train. Two in the lead, two mid -train, and with two SD40-2 helpers on the rear.
