Storm Babet is expected to bring torrential rain, high winds and flooding to most of the country for the rest of the week. A four-day weather warning has already been issued by the Met Office across most of Scotland, eastern Northern Ireland, north-eastern England, Yorkshire, the East Midlands and East Anglia.
