In a surprising political development, the BJP is reportedly unwilling to conduct the much-anticipated bypolls for the vacant Nagrota and Budgam assembly seats, raising questions about the party’s intent regarding democratic processes in Jammu and Kashmir. Sources also suggest BJP is reluctant to initiate elections for the four vacant Rajya Sabha seats from J&K.
