All the clips in this video were shot during a snowstorm that lasted for four days.

Snow leopard is an endangered cat and is known to be the most elusive big cat in the world. They fail to hunt nine out of ten times and survival in winters just gets tougher. The snow makes it difficult for the leopard to perfectly camouflage and ends up alerting its prey to run for cover, an example of which you can see in this video.

The snow leopards could not stalk the Ibex closely as it failed to camouflage well in the gorge covered with fresh snow. The loud alert calls by an adult Ibex cautioned its entire herd resulting in all the Ibex running to the cliffs where the snow leopard cannot catch them. Some of them had a long way to go as they were separated from their herd. The Ibex were right below us and the Snow Leopard kept climbing towards them, as slyly as possible, to make up for being completely exposed in the fresh blanket of snow.

Couldn't document the intensity of it all that well as my camera gave up due to the freezing cold several times but couldn't be happier to witness the brilliance of life that thrives above 15,000ft, during a snowstorm.
