This was an impromptu and undirected shoot of training for new members of a Cal Fire helitack crew. The video begins with the crew learning how to walk onto the skid and handle the Bambi Bucket on a static helicopter. The training then moves to a remote area where the crew step out onto the skid (heli step), unload their gear, unpack the Bambi Bucket, and attach it to the hook while the helicopter stays in a hover (hover hook). There are a couple of nice take off and flyby sequences as well.
