Step 1. Download Daemon Tools Lite

Step 2. Install Everquest Platinum CD’s 1 through 5.

Step 3. Run Daemon Tools Lite
-- Using the quick mount option, mount CD’s 1 through 4
-- When Everquest prompts to enter the next CD, alt+tab and select the next CD
-- When you reach disk 5 you will need to remove either CD 2, 3, or 4 and replace it with 5.
-- After Disk 5 it will ask again for Disk 1, this should still be mounted.

Step 4. Visit the Setup Guide and follow ALL of the instructions.
Install the latest patch files (located in center of post) to your Everquest directory.
-- Follow the Account Setup / Play Guide to create all of your required accounts
-- LoginServer account will be the one you use to login to the Everquest game. (Station Accnt)
-- After creating this, I had to reset my password to get it to work, just a tip.

Step 5. (Optional) Download the WinEQ2 Client to play Everquest on (Preferred method)

Will also need to create a Lavishsoft account.

Once the client is installed and you’ve opened it, an icon with blue and red screens will appear in your taskbar. If you right click, go to everquest, and launch the default profile – You should be able to jump in and start playing.
