Should you use prime or zoom lenses for wedding photography? It might not actually matter that much.

Zooms can allow you to get a little more variety in your shots, and primes might have slightly better image quality and low light performance. However, the gains with either choice are negligible compared to your skills in composition, directing, lighting, etc.

Note that I'd recommend prime lenses if you're a beginner photographer with a tight budget (budget primes are better than budget zooms).
