How to reset Telematic Communications Box

Little back story on my car, I keep having issues with being able to send signals to my car via the Connected Drive app. I can see information on my car, but I cannot send commands. It was a one way communication. I’ve had the car in shop a handful of times, and they “reset” something, and it will work for a couple months, then stop again.

I did some reading online, and one recommendation was to remove fuse F115. Problem I ran into, I didn’t know how to find F115. I removed the little cover via torx but screws like the manual said, but there was no F115 to be found. Come to find out, it’s way easier than that, and no tools required.

From the passenger footwell, look up to find 2 butterfly style thumb screws. They are 1/4 turn screws. Pop those out, and the main fuse panel folds down. Remove fuse F115. It’s a larger sized 5 amp fuse located as shown. Wait about a minute, then put it all back together. I can now send signals to my car after it rebooted.

It was recommended that your car be “off” and not plugged into the charger while doing this reset.
