Fall Canoe Trip in the Quetico Provincial Park 2024

Starting on Moose Lake, Bird, Chrissy, Hunter, Josh, and Shelby set off on a two week canoe trip around the Quetico Provincial Park. The plan was to paddle a modified version of the Hunter Island Loop in hopes to see as much of the Quetico as we comfortably could. We paddled along the border to the Man chain, then Falls chain, across Kawnipi, took a detour into Keewatin to Kashapiwi, back up to Kawnipi, saw Chatterton Falls, paddled the Maligne River to Sturgeon Lake, went down Lac La Croix, then back along the border to Basswood, then Wind Lake. Here are just a few highlights from our trip.
