My FIRST visit to Azad Kashmir and Neelum Valley was beyond words!

Come with me on a journey few foreigners have undertaken before as we travel to the stunning, emerald-green Neelum Valley in Azad Kashmir, right along the LOC (line of control.)

The region rolls alongside the highly contested Pakistan-India border, and foreigners on tourist visas CANNOT visit Neelum. But I was able to take my Pakistan travels to another level now that I have an ID card and am not just a tourist! We traveled here after I received it in Summer 2022. 😁
