Back in 1979, Greg Valentine and Bruiser Brody were the last two men in the ring for a massive battle royal at the Sam Houston Coliseum.

Other participants in the 2-ring rumble include Andre the Giant, The Spoiler, Gino Hernandez, Mark Lewin amongst other legends. This match is the first the the Hammer Valentine faced off against Bruiser Brody.

Legendary Houston Wrestling promoter Paul Boesch is the one who put this match together.

Valentine and Brody would meet again a few years later in the St Louis territory. Greg was in the WWF heavily from 1979-1992. Bruiser Brody unfortunately lost his life in Puerto Rico in 1988.
