A photographer for Life Magazine, as well as the founder of Magnum images, he is one of the most iconic photographers of the 20th century and was once even dubbed "The Greatest War Photographer.

His images remain some of the most powerful and moving records of war and conflict in the history of photojournalism and his legacy as a photographer and a witness to history continues to inspire new generations of photojournalists.
