[Confession]
Choi Do-hyun was born with an incurable heart disease and spent his childhood in the hospital. Although he had a new life thanks to the opportunity of a heart transplant like a miracle, right after the surgery, his father was charged with murder. In order to prove his father's innocence, Choi Do-hyun becomes a lawyer and re-investigates the case that sent his father to death row. While he attempts to uncover the veiled truth, a former detective Ki Choon-ho embarks on a quest to discover the truth. Meanwhile a murder in a different case comes forward, claiming that he was the killer in Do-hyun's father's case and argues that he cannot be tried twice for the same crime, Do-hyun and Choon-ho pursue the truth which is obscured by the principle of double jeopardy that can't be dealt with once the verdict is confirmed.
