The guys had been doing this bit for twenty years. It's hardly "Who's On First", but it's nice to see 'em working together.

After "Laugh-In" they rarely did, as Dan was a diabetic and had to limit his output to appearances on shows like "The Love Boat" and "Fantasy Island". Although the same age as Dick, he looks ten years older, here. He died nine years later, aged just 65, while Dick lasted another THIRTY.

Ironically though, Dick's health wasn't much better than his partner's - having lost a lung to TB as a kid, he'd used bottled oxygen all his life. But it kept him alive until last year, when respiratory failure finally caught up with him. He was only 86...
