Thanks for joining me again today! We're talking about the Kethuvim, or the books of Poetry or Prose. Kethuvim historically included some of the books of History, which we covered before. These books are so divided, because they are poetry and prose. They start with the historical and philosophical book of Job, then the Psalms, which are full of wisdom and beauty; Proverbs and Ecclesiastes are wisdom from two different times in Solomon's life, and the Song of Songs, or Song of Solomon, as it's better known, is believed to have been written by Solomon as a young man, being a book of poetry. Some even say that the Song of Songs is a representation of the relationship between Christ and the church. You'll get a lot out of these books!
