Genesis GV70 2025 review: Major update for Korea's BMW X3 and Mercedes-Benz GLC rivalling family SUV

The 2025 Genesis GV70 has been trying to shake up the premium mid-size SUV segment since the South Korean's international arrival in 2020. And now the time has come for the first-generation model's midlife facelift, which aims to keep it fresh against the popular BMW X3, Mercedes-Benz GLC, Audi Q5, Lexus NX and Volvo XC60, among other rivals.

So, what's new with the GV70? Well, its exterior has been given a tweak with redesigned headlights, a revised grille insert and larger front air intakes featuring alongside renewed alloy wheel options. Inside, a 27.0-inch OLED display dominates, accounting for the central touchscreen and digital instrument cluster.
