Lines of German and Italian prisoners are marched out of the town. Various shots of a group of Jews who show how pleased they are by throwing down and treading the Star of David which they were forced to wear.



Various shots of the 8th Army advancing in battle of Sfax. Various shots of the crowds gathered to cheer and wave flags as the 8th Army moves into Sfax. Trucks roll along the streets and the 51st Highland Pipe Band follows up. The crowds who are mainly French cheer wildly. A great close up shot of the two old ladies looking at Union Jack flying above their heads.



Various shots of General Bernard Montgomery looking inside the B.19 plane which he got from General Eisenhower after a bet that he would take Sfax by April 15th. He did it by April 10th. Monty in Sfax being cheered by the liberated people.
